Director of Access School of Real Estate

Cheryl Davis is the Director of Access School of Real Estate, the full service education division within the Access Family. Cheryl is the author and creative force behind our Disability Education program.

Cheryl has been wheelchair bound for over 20 years. She has become an advocate for disability rights, specifically in the areas of employment, housing, and durable medical equipment.

A native of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Cheryl is a 2nd generation Realtor with over 37 years of experience in Residential and Commercial sales, as well as Property Management. For the past 9 years, Cheryl has added the role of licensed Florida Real Estate Instructor to her vast experience, and has served as the Director of Education for the Florida Association of Realtors.

Cheryl’s personal perspective of the challenges facing persons with mobility issues, coupled with her deep understanding of the housing industry has resulted in the creation of a truly insightful and powerful training program.

The focus of the program is teaching Realtors the housing issues faced by people with mobility challenges or disabilities. Topics include Service Animals and the Law, Renovating and Remodeling Homes for Individuals with Mobility Issues, Smart Homes and Assistive Technology, and the ADA and Commercial Real Estate.

The program's 'Training Lab' includes a variety of experiential challenges such as the loss of mobility and the loss of sight and hearing. To achieve a deeper understanding, respect and compassion for the clients they serve, each student dedicates time restricted to a wheelchair and experiencing the struggle of completing daily activities blindfolded as well as without sound.

All members of Access Perfect Homes are required to complete the program.

Access School of Real Estate is a Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) recognized real estate school. The school provides quality education to train both future and current real estate professionals. The School's specialized Disability focused courses are available for conferences and seminars for professions affiliated with the Real Estate industry as well.
